Long Valley Arts (LVA) is a non-profit organization founded in 2007 to advance the arts and support local cultural organizations. Through this website, LVA hopes to make the arts an intrinsic part of the Long Valley community. We want this organization to represent all sectors of the community — students, seniors, artists of all kinds, and the community at large.

LVA’s goal is to advocate for and support individual artists and art organizations acting as a catalyst for arts and cultural events and implementing a re-granting program for expanded programming.

Long Valley Dog Park

The LVDP is a members-only off-leash dog park located on Route 517. Dogs are able to exercise and socialize in a safe environment. The annual membership fees are $10 for residents of LV and $15 for non-residents. Membership applications are available at the Washington Township Municipal Building and on LVDP web pages at wtmorris.org.

The Long Valley Junior Women's Club (LVJWC) is a community service organization comprised of women living in Washington Township. Our primary objective is to support our local communities while providing members with opportunities for personal growth, friendship, and fun.

Meadowbrook Country Day Camp

Located on a beautiful 50-acre setting, Meadowbrook’s traditional day camp program services children aged 3-14, offering a very wide selection of athletics, creative arts, nature, special events and swimming.

We believe camp is a place where children have the opportunity to try new activities, take on new challenges, increase their self esteem and grow in a safe, nurturing, fun environment. We accomplish this through a dynamic and creative program organized by our warm and caring professional staff.

Obadiah LaTourette Grist and Saw Mill

Built in 1750 by Philip Weise, the mill is currently being restored by the Washington Township Land Trust.

In 1991 the Land Trust acquired the Obadiah Latourette Mill and the surrounding 10 acres of land. The 10 acres has been preserved as a wetlands park. A portion of the park has been set aside as a memorial garden for Helen Andrews, a long time resident of Long Valley and wife of Stan Andrews.

Washington Township Historical Society

Membership in the Washington Township Historical Society is open to the public. The museum is located in the center of Long Valley. WTHS is the sponsor of the annual Historic House Tour, held on the second Saturday of December.

Washington Township Land Trust of Morris County, NJ

The Land Trust is exclusively for charitable, educational, and scientific purposes — to protect and preserve the lands, watercourses, ponds, streams, and structures which contribute to the natural beauty and rural character of Washington Township. The Land Trust acquires interests in land through purchase or donation, manages land uses for the benefit of the public, and assists in the stewardship of public lands and easements; administers the issuance of easement markers; provides education to the public on preservation; works with other land trusts, open space groups, and conservation organizations.
