For Group Categories:
Houses must be constructed entirely of cookie or candy.
All surfaces, including bases, must be covered with edible products.
Houses should be built on a metal cookie sheet with the base not to exceed 20 inches x 20 inches.

For Children Category
Cardboard may be used to form frame of house.
All surfaces, including bases, must be covered with edible products.
Bases cannot exceed 10 inches x 13 inches.

Additional Information

  1. Contest is open to all local families and children. Siblings may work together (group category) or each may submit their own entry if desired.
  2. Registration deadline is Monday, November 28, 2011. Please fill out one form for each house being entered
  3. All entries must dropped off at the 5 West Mill Road between noon and 2:00 pm on Saturday, December 3, 2011.
  4. Houses will be assigned an entry number for judging.
  5. Houses will be evaluated by a panel of judges and prizes will be awarded to the top entries in each category.
  6. Entries will remain on display throughout the day on Sunday, December 4 during the Holiday Happenings Event.
  7. The LVJWC and the LVVA reserve the right to photograph entries for any promotional purposes.
  8. A parent or guardian will be contacted to confirm each registration.
  9. Ribbons/Prizes will be awarded on Sunday, December 4th, 2011 at 5 West Mill Road.
  10. The LV Jr Women’s Club and LVVA reserve the right to reject any entry deemed inappropriate.
  11. Anonymous entries will not be accepted.
  12. All house will be on display at local area businesses for 2 weeks after the event. (locations to be determined)
