Why have an L.V.V.A. association?
The Long Valley Village Association is not a business. It is a forum, a think tank, a place to put forth new ideas, to listen to and to work together to develop a viable, attractive and profitable area for the businesses, the residents and the town.
It gives local business owners a chance to meet, network and develop relationships with other local businesses. We believe this kind of solidarity and unity can make a difference in the community and benefit all of those involved.
L.V.V.A. meetings are held at various business locations of current members, and are generally held on the second Thursday of each month at 6:00 p.m. This date can change depending on attendance issues, but has been very convenient for those members who now attend meetings.
It is time to renew your membership or to join this organization and make your voice heard.

To join, complete our application form, and write a check made payable to Long Valley Village Association. Mail it to P.O. Box 248, Long Valley, NJ 07853 or hand-deliver it to Pam Farber at PNC Back, 67 East Mill Road at Long Valley Plaza.
For the description of business in the brochure portion, due to printing restrictions and size, this should be kept to a minimum of two sentences. The brochure is subject to editing based on size.

The L.V.V.A. web site
The web site www.longvalleyvillageassoc.com has been given a face-lift and re-launched in January 2010, by Scottidesign.
Categories of businesses are listed on the right, as well as a number of logos across the top. The event calendar is located below the categories.
Our audience
Designed primarily as a resource for shoppers and visitors to Long Valley, the site features a business directory, local events, special attractions, directions, a contact form, and related links. Visitors to the web site are both current residents and out-of-towners interested in visiting Long Valley for pleasure or business.
Our secondary, but equally important web site visitors are our members. Information on current projects and committees is available on-line, as well as an application form for new members.
Member listings
Each business is currently listed under one category with one image, a 40-word description, contact information as appropriate (names, emails, phone, fax, address), a link to the business’s web site, and a listing of business hours and days. The image could be a logo, the store front, store interior, happy employees, happy customers, or product samples.
Reciprocal links
We encourage businesses with web sites to link to www.longvalleyvillageassoc.com. Reciprocal linking from one high-quality web site to another helps increase the rankings of both sites in the search engines. It’s an added benefit of getting listed on our web site. Link to us by using one of our small logos, or simply add a text link to Long Valley Village Association. Use our contact form if you have any questions.
L.V.V.A. business services
Our first initiative is to provide a “road map” to help prospective businesses navigate local codes and regulations in order to establish a business.
L.V.V.A. community services
Progress has already been made in providing parking and new side walks for our customers while shopping in downtown Long Valley. Plans to dress up the town with flower boxes are being discussed. We’re interested in exploring other ways to make Long Valley convenient, attractive, and accessible.
