New Jersey artist Madeline Taranto will present an exhibit of her recent works entitled “Pastoral Scenes”. This exhibit will feature oil paintings created en plein air throughout Northwest New Jersey. The show will take place at the Arts Building, 18 Schooleys Mountain Road Long Valley, New Jersey.

Taranto studied at the prestigious Arts Students League of New York where she was awarded two scholarships. Exhibiting across the United States since 1980, she has participated in many juried shows and has received awards from Allied Artists of America, New York, Pen & Brush, New York, and Phillips Mill, New Hope, Pa. . Her paintings are in private and corporate collections.

The exhibition is open to the public beginning Thursday, November 4 through Sunday, November 28. Hours are Thursday – Saturday 11:00 AM – 6:00 PM and Sunday, 12:00 PM – 5:00 PM. The artist will be in attendance at an artist’s reception on Friday, November 12 from 5:00 PM- 9:00 PM, Saturday, November 13 from 11:00 AM – 6:00 PM and Sunday, November, 14 from 12:00 PM – 5:00 PM.

Fordyce Studio cordially invites you to JB McCollum’s upcoming photography gallery opening! The work that will be shown will be primarily from a road trip that he recently took last summer covering New Jersey to Montana and other western states. What one can expect to see.. wild life, plant life, landscapes, underwater work, and celestial images of the stars above.

Opening night will be November 12th.

Doors will open at 5:00 and close at 10:00, wine, champaign, beer(21+) and cheese will be served opening night (naturally soft drinks will be available for those that prefer something non-alcoholic).

JB will be in the Gallery Monday, Wednesday, and Friday thru Sunday.
